- These three are the first adventures from Infocom.

- A few lines from the manuals:

- ZORK I-The Great Underground Empire: In ZORK I, you are near a great
- underground labyrinth, which is reputed to contain vast quantities of
- treasure. No doubt, you wish to aquire some of it. In order to receive full
- credit for treasure, you must deposit it safely in the trophy case.
- In addition to treasure, the labyrinth contains various object that may
- or may not be useful in your attempt to acquire the treasure: you may
- need sources of light, since caves are often dark, and weapons, since
- dungeons often have unfriendly beings wandering about in them. Reading
- materials is scattered around as well: you might even find some of it
- useful.
- Beware of the thief! He is a dastardly anti-social type and a skilled
- pickpocket. Watch out for your valuable possessions when he is near.

- ZORK II-The Wizard of Frobozz: In ZORK II, you are placed at the
- entrance to a long-hidden region of the empire, a region under the
- control of The Wizard of Frobozz. The Wizard, formerly the personal
- sorcerer of Lord Dimwit Flathead the Excessive, still rules the cavern
- with an iron (though somewhat absent-minded)will. His great age has not
- impaired his magical skills (at least not too much).
- Many strange tales have been told of fabulous treasures, exotic
- creatures, and diabolical puzzles to be found here. The aspiring
- adventurer had best equip himself with light (for the caverns are dark
- and gloomy) and weapons (for some of the inhabitants are unfriendly).
- Other tools and equipment may well be found (with luck) and used
- (with cleverness) Ancient manuscripts and other printed matter may
- well offer clues.

- ZORK III-The Dungeon Master: In ZORK III, you take the last step down
- into the heart of the Great Underground Empire. Only by making this
- final descent can you reach the summit of achievement in the ZORK
- triology. Your quest hinges upon discovering the secret purpose of
- the Dungeon Master, who will oversee your ultimate triumph - or
- destruction - in the realm of ZORK.

- There is not much more to say about them. There is nothing from the
- package that you'll need - it uses all the standard commands (as
- you can read in another manual on this disk) with exception of the
- new commands like X and OOPS.
